Rockford Recreation Association is a proud supporter of youth and adult recreation activities for area competitors in spring, summer, and fall programs that bring hundreds of visitors to Shanes Park annually. Thank you for being a part of our programs and ongoing park growth.

2026 CHICK STEWART MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION
Shanes Park will once again be hosting the annual Chick Stewart Memorial Tournament in 2026! This year we will return to the 8U and 11U format! Tournament dates this year will be May 14-16, 2026. Download a copy of the registration form below and mail it in to the address at the bottom of the form!
PARK UPDATES
Diamond 3 and 4 refurbishing
We recently invested nearly $27,000 in diamonds 3 and 4! These updates consisted of completely removing the old playing surfaces and putting down all new material. Both diamonds will be ready for play in spring of 2026!
Pickleball comes to Rockford!! Shanes Park recently unveiled a newly resurfaced and striped addition to the park - Pickleball courts!
