Our future superstars soccer program is designed to teach and inspire young players with the skills and love for the sport of outdoor soccer.
Players in graders K-6 are organized into different divisions (based upon registration numbers) and are played on coed teams during the fall season.

FLAG FOOTBALL
Building a program of young players that understand the dynamics, techniques, terminology, and offensive and defensive skills is the goal of Rockford Recreation Association's coed fall flag football league. Games are played on Monday evenings during September & October for students in grades 1-6.
WALKING
The Village of Rockford was a 2015 recipient of a Park Improvement Grant - part of the park improvement design included the introduction of concrete walking paths in and around the existing ball diamonds at Shane's Park. The walking paths are scheduled to be completed 2016.
